The Albin Köbis is a German motor yacht yacht and former state of the GDR.

History

The yacht was built in 1952 as one of three boats of the project 977 " travel motor yacht 20m " on behalf of Wilhelm Pieck as GDR state yacht at the VEB Shipyard in Berlin- Köpenick. She ran in 1952 from the pile and was named after Albin Köbis. The inventory and the structures were made of precious tropical woods. While Fidel Castro was on board, there was a collision with a bridge. After German reunification, the yacht was used under the name of friendship of the Berlin Water Police. In 1990 it was auctioned by the THA for 180,000 DM. The yacht was renamed La Belle. During this time the ship sank, but was refloated and converted into a houseboat. In 2009 she was purchased by a private owner who had them, restored in the shipyard malt, a Oranienburger district. The ship is now in the Kleiner Wannsee.
