Alboino I. della Scala
Alboino I della Scala (* around 1284 in Verona, † October 28, 1311 ibid ) from the family of Mr. Scaliger of Verona had since the year 1304 as the successor of his brother Bartolomeo I della Scala, since his son as heir Cecchino due to its youth out of the question. Alboino was the son of Alberto I della Scala, who had ruled the city from 1277 to 1301.

Alboino and Cangrande were appointed vicars kingdom of Verona in March 1311 together.
Alboino was married to Caterina Visconti since the year 1298, a daughter of Matteo I. Visconti, of which he, Viridis had a daughter; Viridis married in 1316 and 1340 Camino Ricardo of Ugolino Gonzaga. The male heir stood until the second marriage, the one with Beatrice, daughter of Giberto of Correggio, :
