Alby metro station

Alby is an underground station of the Stockholm Metro. It is located in the homonymous district of the municipality of Alby Botkyrka. The station is owned by the Röda linjen the Stockholm subway system operated. It is one of the more moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day here rise to 6,000 commuters and around.

The station was taken on January 12, 1975 in operation, as the portion of the Röda linjen was inaugurated between Fittja and Norsborg. The platforms are 25 meters below ground. The station is located between the stations Fittja and Hallunda. Stockholm Central Station is about 16 km.
