Aldo Signoretti
Aldo Signoretti (* 1953 /54) is an Italian barber.
He has been in this profession in the film industry since the early 1970s. His training was done by Manlio Rocchetti and in collaboration with Piero Tosi on the sets of Luchino Visconti.
Signoretti has been nominated three times for an Academy Award for his work. The first time, together with Maurizio Silvi for the film Moulin Rouge in the category of Best Makeup 2002. Another time in 2007 along with Vittorio Sodano for Apocalypto. A third nomination earned him his work on Il Divo in 2010 also with a Sodano. Signoretti and Sodano won respectively the Best Makeup for same movie the David di Donatello 2009 in the categories Best Hairstyling. The following year, Signoretti could repeat this success with Noi credevamo.
