Alec Burks
Alec Burks ( born July 20, 1991 Grandview, Missouri ) is an American professional basketball player who stands since 2011 with the Utah Jazz in the NBA under contract.
College
Burks played two years for the Colorado Buffaloes. In his first year he won with 17.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists, the award of the Freshmen of the Year in the Big 12 Conference. After Burks completed the second year, he opted for the NBA Draft to register 2011. He finished his sophomore year with 20.5 points, 2.9 assists and 6.5 rebounds per game.

When NBA Draft 2011 Burks was selected in 12th place of the Utah Jazz. In the first two years Burks came off the bench and scored an average of about 7 points per game. Since the 2013/14 season, he took over the role of the " Best Sixth Man" with jazz, so that henceforth he comes as the main attack option off the bench. On January 13, 2014 Burks scored 34 points in the victory of the Jazz on the Denver Nuggets, a career record.
