Alejandro de Tomaso

Alejandro de Tomaso ( * July 10, 1928 in Buenos Aires, Argentina; † 21 May 2003 in Modena, Italy) was an Argentine racing driver and founder of the sports car maker De Tomaso Modena SpA.

Life

After the emigration to Italy 1955 Alejandro de Tomaso tried his luck as a racing driver and drove 1957 and 1959 per a race of the Formula 1 World Championship. In 1959 he founded in Modena his own automobile factory and built from the beginning exclusive models.
