Alejandro Gómez Monteverde

Jose Alejandro Gomez Monteverde ( born July 13, 1977 in Tampico, Mexico) is a Mexican film director and screenwriter.

Biography

At 17, Jose Alejandro Gomez Monteverde immigrated to the United States. He studied film at the University of Texas at Austin and directed by his two short films Bocho and Waiting for Trains some commercials. In 2006 appeared with the film drama Bella staged his first feature film. The space occupied by Eduardo Verástegui and Tammy Blanchard in the lead roles film was awarded at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2007 with the Audience Award.
