Aleksandar Kolarov ( born November 10, 1985 in Belgrade ) is a Serbian football player who is under contract at Manchester City and plays for the Serbian national team.
Club career
Aleksandar Kolarov began his career with the Serbian second division side FK Čukarički, with whom he also played first class 2004/ 05. In early 2006, joining the defender to OFK Belgrade, for whom he scored five goals in 38 games. In summer 2007, Kolarov went to the Italian Serie A, where he signed a long-term contract at the former Champions League hopefuls SS Lazio. With Lazio he came since then also used regularly. In summer 2010, Kolarov switched for the equivalent of € 22.7 million to Manchester City.
National
With the Serbian national team Aleksander Kolarov qualified for the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa. He came in two of three games during the World Cup for use.
Playful properties
Its strengths lie not only in the defense of his shot power, which makes him a good free kick taker. In Serbia it is in this respect compared with Siniša Mihajlovic, a successful free kick shooters.
