Aleksander Šeliga (2009)

Aleksander Šeliga (born 1 February 1980) is a Slovenian football goalkeeper.

Career

Šeliga began his professional career at NK Celje. In 2005 he moved to the Czech club Slavia Prague, during which he never sat through and already returned after a year to his hometown club Celje. With consistently good performances for NK Celje he aroused the interest of the top Dutch club Sparta Rotterdam, who in 2009 took the goalkeeper under contract. There Šeliga established immediately as goalkeeper.

His international debut celebrated Aleksander Šeliga, who had been appointed to the levy of the Slovenian team since 2007, on 3 March 2010 at the use in the 4-1 friendly win against Qatar. With the Football World Cup 2010 in South Africa Šeliga stood as the third goalkeeper in the squad Slovenia.
