Aleksander Suglobov

Alexander Mikhailovich Suglobow (Russian Александр Михайлович Суглобов; born January 15, 1982 in Elektrostal, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player, who was last at HK Spartak Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Alexander Suglobow began his career in 1998 at HK CSKA Moscow, where he was until 1999 under contract. In the season 1999/2000 he was engaged by Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, where he played up with two short interruptions, until 2003. NHL Entry Draft 2000, the New Jersey Devils selected him in the second round on the 56th for which he completed two NHL games. From 2006 to 2007, the Russian was 16- times for the Toronto Maple Leafs on the ice, otherwise it was mostly used in the North American farm team. In 2007 he decided to return to Russia for first five games for SKA Saint Petersburg and then HK CSKA Moscow, for which he ran aground in 2010.

In the season 2010/11 Suglobow played in the KHL for his former clubs HK Spartak Moscow and CSKA Moscow HK. For the following season, he was first obliged Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod. After four games, his contract on October 3, 2011 were resolved. Two days later he moved to league rivals but HK Sibir Novosibirsk.

As of May 2012, he stood by the HC Traktor Chelyabinsk under contract and completed by November of the same year 15 KHL games for the club before returning to Spartak Moscow.

Internationally

With the Russian U20 national team Alexander Suglobow took part in the Junior World Championship in 2002. In addition, he completed seven games at the 2003 World Cup, scoring three goals.
