Aleksandr Chuchelov

Alexander Tschutschelow ( born April 26, 1933, Tallinn, Estonia) is a former Soviet sailors.

Career

Tschutschelow was active for Kalev Tallinn. In the Finn Dinghy World Championships in 1959, he finished seventh. A year later Tschutschelow won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Rome behind the Dane Paul Elvstrøm. There was a fifth place at the World Championships in 1961 and the European Championships in 1963. After he became Soviet champion in 1964, he won at the Olympic Games in Tokyo twelfth grade. Later he changed the boot class of Finn dinghy to Soling, in which he the Soviet Championship title in 1974 and 1975.
