Aleksandr Sidelnikov

Alexander Nikolayevich Sidelnikov (Russian Александр Николаевич Сидельников; born August 12, 1950 in Solnechnogorsk, Russian SFSR, † 23 June 2003 Kholmogory ) was a Russian professional ice hockey goaltender.

Career

During his career, played Krylia Sovetov Moscow for the goalkeeper. Overall, he was in 406 games in the Soviet league in goal. He was appointed to the team of the Soviet national ice hockey team. On November 4, 1972, he was in a game against Finland for the first time for the Sbornaja on the ice. His international career was crowned with the gold medal at the Olympic Winter Games in 1976. For the national team was in 38 international matches between the posts. On September 21, 1977 he played his last international match. In 1976, he was inducted into the "Russian Hockey Hall of Fame".
