Aleksandr Vinogradov

Alexander Vinogradov Jurjewitsch ( born November 10, 1951 in Moscow) is a former Soviet canoeist.

Vinogradov, together with Sergei Petrenko two -time Olympic champion at the Games in Montreal in 1976 in a two - canoe ( C-2) over 500 meters and 1000 meters. In addition, he won at the World Championships in 1974 and 1975 respectively, a gold medal and 1979 silver medal in the C -2 500 meters, and in 1975 a bronze medal over 1000 meters. He was also 1971 world champion in the C- 2 on the 10,000 - meter course.
