Aleksey Obmochaev

Alexei Alexandrovich Obmotschajew (Russian Алексей Александрович Обмочаев, English transcription: Alexey Alexandrovich Obmochaev; May 22nd, 1989 in Kislovodsk ) is a Russian volleyball player.

Career

Obmotschajew began his career in the club of his hometown. In 2007 he came to Neftekhimik Salavat. A year later he was hired by the UK Zenit- Kazan and used in the second team. In the European Youth Championships Libero reached the third place with Russian young. In the 2009/10 season Obmotschajew played for Dynamo Jantar Kaliningrad. Then he returned to Kazan and moved into the top-flight team on. 2011, the Assembly of Russian champion and defeated in the Champions League only in the finale. After the victory at the Universiade Obmotschajew debuted on November 20, 2011 in the senior national team, with whom he won the World Cup the same. 2012 Kazan managed to defend the title in the league and in the Champions League won the Russians this time the final against Skra Belchatow. At the Olympic Games in London Obmotschajew won the gold medal with the national team. 2013 moved Obmotschajew to league rivals Dynamo Moscow.

Obmotschajew married in early 2012 the national team Natalia Goncharova Olegovna.
