Aleksey Orlov (politician)
Alexei Orlov studied until 1984 at the Moscow Institute of International Relations. He then worked until the mid- 1990s in different farms. In July 1995, Orlov entered his first political office as a representative of the Republic of Kalmykia at the President of the Russian Federation. Later he also became first deputy chairman of the Kalmyk government. On 8 September 2010 he was named along with three other candidates Some of the Presidium of the State Party Russia as a possible successor to President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov of Kalmyk.
