Alesha Dixon
Alesha Anjanette Dixon ( born October 7, 1978 in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire), even as Alesha known, is an English pop singer and dancer.
Biography
Alesha as a member of Mis - Teeq, who had a string of hits between 2001 and 2003 became known. After the trio disbanded in 2005, she tried to start a solo career, but as their debut single Lipstick not it past in England number 14 and the second single not even reached Top 40, the record company Polydor stopped her ready- produced album and ended the cooperation.
After that she was seen as a model in several magazines such as FHM and Arena, and in 2007 he became part of the fifth season of the dance show Strictly Come Dancing. After twelve rounds, she won the competition with her professional partner Matthew Cutler. Other television appearances she had as a presenter at music awards and judge on talent shows.
After their newfound popularity, it was traded in betting shops already as a candidate for the Christmas hit in 2007 with the music of the dance show, although nothing like it was planned. In the summer of 2008, she got a new record deal with Asylum / Warner four albums. Her second musical start, The Alesha Show was produced for publication in November. The first single The Boy Does Nothing, a Mambo song in tribute to her dancing success, was a top 5 hit, and could also place internationally. The second single Breathe Slow even reached number 3 in the UK. On July 3, 2009 Alesha gave her so far only concert in Germany as a solo artist under the Rheinland -Pfalz- Day 2009 in Bad Kreuznach.
