Alessandra Merlin

Alessandra Merlin ( born September 22, 1975 in Turin) is an Italian alpine skier. By 2001, she was specializing in the World Cup on the disciplines of downhill and Super -G, since it denies almost exclusively carving race and established himself in the FIS Carving Cup Series champion as.

Biography

The three years younger sister of Barbara Merlin began her career with inserts in FIS races and in the European Cup. On January 9, 1993, she participated in Cortina d'Ampezzo first part in a World Cup race. At the Junior World Championship 1993, she won the bronze medal in the Super -G. The first World Cup points she brought on 10 December 1994 as the 18th downhill in Lake Louise.
