Alessandro Nesta ( born March 19, 1976 in Rome ) is a retired Italian footballer.

Association

Alessandro Nesta grew up in the southern suburb of Cinecittà Rome. His nine years older brother Giuseppe played two years at Milan, though not as successful as his brother.

Since his youth, Nesta played for Roman football club Lazio.
