Alessandro Potenza

Alessandro Potenza ( born March 8, 1984 in San Severo) is an Italian football player, he plays on the position of a defender.

Club career

Alessandro Potenza started his career with the youth team of Inter Milan. For the 2003/04 season he was loaned to newly promoted Ancona Calcio. That same season loaned out to FC Inter Potenza Parma. Potenza remained until the 2004/05 season at Parma, before he was loaned to AC Chievo Verona. For the season 2005/ 06 Inter Milan Potenza borrowed from the Spanish side RCD Mallorca. After one season in Spain Potenza moved to Fiorentina. In 2008 he joined Genoa CFC.

National

Potenza won the Italian U- 19, U-19 European Championship in 2003 and the U- 21, U- 21 Championship 2004. Moreover, he took part in the U-21 European Championship in 2006, failed there with the selection but already in the group stage.
