Alessio Faustini

Alessio Faustini ( born June 10, 1960 in Rome ) is an Italian former marathon runner.

In 1983 he won the marathon of the Universiade in Edmonton. At the IAAF World Cup Marathon 1985 he came in 23rd place, and in 1986 he finished eleventh at the Fukuoka Marathon. In 1988 he won silver at the European Cup Marathon.

When in the context of the London Marathon discharged IAAF World Cup Marathon in 1991, he finished 14th place. In the same year he did not reach the goal at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

In 1992, he won the Turin Marathon with his personal best of 2:11:03 h and thus qualified for the Olympic Games in Barcelona, ​​where he broke in on rank 44.
