Alessio Scarpi (2010)

Alessio Scarpi (born 19 April 1973 in Jesolo ) is an Italian football goalkeeper.

Career

Alessio Scarpi began his career at Cagliari Calcio, where he had already gone through the youth teams. Although the goalkeeper stood four years at Cagliari under contract, he was not used in any Seria -A game. In 1995 he moved to Serie B Reggina Calcio on. He succeeded immediately to secure a regular place and to give numerous league games at the Kalabriern. Two years later he returned to his youth club Cagliari Calcio, where he was this time used as a goalkeeper and Cagliari each one went through promotion and relegation.

As in the 2000 /01 season the new promotion for the Serie A was clearly missed, is Scarpi decided to leave the club and signed for AC Ancona. Even with Ancona he succeeded after the 2002/ 03 season of promotion to the top Italian league. In the following season he placed with the team, however, cut off as Table on the drop zone. The goalkeeper had already signed a contract in January 2004 for the second division Genoa to forestall relegation from the top division. In fact, Ancona earned only 13 points in only 21 goals this season and scored 70 goals against and thus presented not erstligatauglich.
