Alex Gimeno

Alex Gimeno (* in Brooklyn, New York ) is an American musician and disc jockey.

Life

Childhood and youth

During his childhood, the family moved to Miami Beach ( Florida). His father played in the Spanish flamenco group Los Chavales de España as a musician. As a teenager, Gimeno started to collect records, 2005, he was said to have 20,000 of them.

Career

His music career began as a drummer Gimeno. In the 1990s, he returned to Brooklyn. After extensive work as a disc jockey, he sent a tape of his work on the label ESL Music, Washington DC, which was immediately interested. On this label, Gimeno has a number of albums, with mixtures of an eclectic range of bands, from classic pieces such as the Beatles to techno published.
