Alex Heffes
Alex Heffes ( born September 2, 1971 in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, England ) is a British composer.
Biography
After graduating from the University of Oxford Alex Heffes assisted, among others, the British composer Simon Boswell and British musician Elton John. 1998 debuted Heffes with his music for the two TV movies Big Cat and Little White Lies as a film composer for feature films. Since its composition for the documentation One Day in September, he worked with the Scottish filmmaker. So he composed for Touching the Void, State of Play - state of play and The Last King of Scotland - In the clutches of the power the music. For the latter, he was nominated at the European Film Award 2007 for Best Film Music.
