Alex Homberger

H. Alexander "Alex" Homberger ( born October 26, 1912 in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, † April 15, 2007 in Muskegon, Michigan, United States) was a Swiss rower who won two Olympic medals in 1936.

The three brothers Alex, Hans Rudolf Homberger and started for the Rowing Club Zurich.

1934 was the European Championship held in Lucerne, Switzerland's coxless four with Hermann Betschart, Max Schuler, Alex Homberger and Karl Schmid finished second behind the German boat. 1935 at the European Championships in Berlin won the Swiss foursome with Hermann Betschart, Hans Homberger, Alex Homberger and Karl Schmid.
