Alex Howes

Alex Howes ( born January 1, 1988 in Golden, Colorado) is an American cyclo-cross and road racing cyclist.

Alex Howes in 2005 U.S. runner-up at the World Cross Championships for juniors. In the 2007 season, he turned pro and drove for a year at the Professional Continental Team Slipstream - Chipotle. 2009 Howes was national champion in the road race in the U23 class. At the Tour of Utah, he won the fourth stage and was first in the mountain and in the junior rankings. In the overall classification, he finished in fourth place. End of the 2009 season Howes drove again for the now ascended into the ProTour team Garmin - Slipstream, but this time as a stagiaire.
