Alex Jacob
Alex " Skim Milk" Jacob ( born October 27, 1984 in Houston ) is a professional American poker players.
In May 2006, Jacob completed his studies with a degree in Economics and Mathematics at Yale University. Then he began playing poker professionally.
Even before his graduation, he was able to take second place in a tournament on the World Poker Tour and win 655,000 U.S. dollars. In the subsequent World Series of Poker 2006 he made two final tables and came four times in the money.
In October 2006, Alex Jacob became the youngest winner of the United States Poker Championship. He won more than 875,000 U.S. dollars and could be classified in the winners gallery with Daniel Negreanu, John Hennigan and Men Nguyen.
In March 2007, he was another major event win. The final table of the Ultimate Poker Challenge Championship he had, among other things Vanessa Rousso, Hasan Habib, Shannon Shorr and Erik Cajelais behind.
In the World Series of Poker 2007 he drew attention primarily through his hair up. For this he was given the nickname Mr. Fro poker. He succeeded in attaining 2007, three cashes and a third place in a 1,500 No Limit Hold'em tournament for which he received more than 280,000 U.S. dollars. The German Andreas Krause was sixth at the tournament.
He is also known for its courtesy and sportsmanship at poker tournaments.
