Alex Kurtagić

Alex Kurtagić (born 1970 ) is a living in the UK, the New Right associated writer, musician, columnist, editor, activist and director of the record label Supernal Music.

Life

Alex Kurtagićs roots are Slovenian and Spanish. Due to the professions of his parents, he spent much of his youth in South America. He currently resides in the UK.

In 1995, the band Benighted Kurtagić Leams that has since released four albums. He is, among other things Possessed, Darkthrone, Voivod and Celtic Frost, but also composers such as Arnold Schoenberg, as an influence on. The texts of this project are kept in a sophisticated, old-fashioned English -style and treat mainly esoteric topics. Moreover, it was Kurtagić co- composer - along with Aphazel - the piece At the Infernal Portal ( Canto III), published in 1996 for the album The Cainian Chronicle of the band Ancient and co-author of the lyrics of the album Ark of Thought ( 1997) the band Deinonychus. He also designed the cover for the second album ( Stormblåst ) the group Dimmu Borgir.

In 1996 he founded the label Supernal Music, which has since brought out among other music groups Astrofaes and Drudkh from Ukraine, Fleurety and Mayhem from Norway and The Meads of Asphodel from the UK.

In the 1990s Kurtagić designed the covers for albums by a number of artists from the Black Metal environment, including Dimmu Borgir, Mayhem, Tormentor, Deinonychus, Ancient and others. His artistic cover work is in the book Heavy Metal Thunder: Album Covers discussed did Rocked the World. More recently, new editions of books by Madison Grant, Lothrop Stoddard and Francis Parker Yockey were released with cover artwork by Kurtagić.

Writer

Since the late 2000s Kurtagić has written articles for a right publications, including Taki 's Magazine, Occidental Quarterly, Occidental Observer, Vdare, American Renaissance and Alternative Right regularly. 2011, in the German Unitall Verlag under the title Yes, Africa needs to go to hell a collection of his essays published.

In the journal of the Institute of Civil state policy, the reviewer Martin Lichtmesz Kurtagićs compared dystopian novel Mister with Aldous Huxley 's Brave New World and Anthony Burgess ' A Clockwork Orange.
