Alex Leavitt

Alex Leavitt ( born January 31, 1984 in Edmonton, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player.

Career

Alex Leavitt played in his youth two years for the college team of the University of Wisconsin -Madison in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, a league in the play mode of the NCAA before it from 2003 to 2005 in the Canadian Junior Football League WHL for the Swift Current Broncos and the Everett Silvertips went on the ice. In the season 2005/ 06 the Centre completed his first professional season in the ECHL with the Alaska Aces unterklassigen and was top scorer with 91 points in the league. In the season 2006/ 07 Leavitt came for three different teams in the ECHL and American Hockey League action. In the game year 2007/ 08, the Canadians attended a few games for the San Antonio Rampage in the AHL that season but Sundogs spent mainly in Arizona from the Central Hockey League. Leavitt was in the league 's best assist provider and scorer with 88 assists and 128 points scorer in 58 games.

With the resurgence of the Kassel Huskies in the German Ice Hockey League for the 2008/09 season Leavitt moved to Germany, where he signed a one year contract with the North Hesse. For the 2010/11 season Leavitt joined the Ravensburg Tower Stars in the 2nd Hockey League. In May 2011, Leavitt signed a contract with Hämeenlinnan Pallokerho from the Finnish SM- liiga. This season he was the leading scorer on the team. After the season he moved to Medvescak Zagreb in EBEL. On November 15, he left Zagreb and returns in the second Hockey League, but this time to the Schwenningen Wild Wings.
