Alex Malinga

Alex Malinga ( born July 27, 1974 at Kapchorwa District ) is a Ugandan marathoner.

In the World Half Marathon Championships in 1998 in Uster he came on the 58th. After a sixth place in Mombasa Marathon 1999 he was nominated for the marathon in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, where he finished 57th place.

In the World Half Marathon Championships in 2003 in Vilamoura, he ran a rank 21. In 2004, he won a misdirection because overlong Mombasa Marathon. He was ninth in the Mumbai Marathon 2005 and placed sixth in the marathon of the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki with 2:12:12 h a country record.

The following year he finished eighth in Mumbai, arrived at the Road Race World Championships 2006 in Debrecen on the 66th and was third in the Nairobi Marathon.

In 2007 he won the Luxembourg - marathon and was at the World Championships in Osaka twelfth. His second Olympic marathon at the 2008 Games in Beijing, he graduated with a 31st place.
