Alex Neil (politician)

Alex Neil ( born August 22, 1951 in Patna ) is a Scottish politician and member of the Scottish National Party.

Neil joined the Labour Party at the age of 16 years. He studied economics at the University of Dundee. By the way Neil was active in the student organization of the Labour Party and sat her some time ago. He then worked for the Labour Party, but left in 1976 to assist in the establishment of the Scottish Labour Party. In 1985 he resigned from the Scottish Labour Party and the Scottish National Party ( SNP) turned to.
