Alex Nicol
Alex Nicol (Alexander Livingston Nicol, born January 20, 1916 in Ossining, New York, † July 29, 2001 in Montecito ) was an American actor and director.
Life
Nicol was as a young actor with Maurice Evans Company in Shakespeare performances on tour; after military service, he performed from 1940 to the end of the war in Europe, he could take on Broadway foot, as in South Pacific and Mr. Roberts (on the side of Henry Fonda ). Then he got a contract with Universal Studios and has appeared in about 40 films from 1953 and on television. He then continued his career in Spain and Italy until the mid- 1960s on, before becoming a director on a number of television series participated until the end of the decade ( Tarzan, Mad Wild West et al. )
His career sounded in the 1970s with roles in a number of exploitation films. His living he earned with the rental of the dwelling.
