Alexandair

Alexandair was founded in 2005, Greek charter airline based in the airport of Heraklion. She was in regular service from Manchester to several Greek holiday islands.

The name of the airline was chosen on the basis of Alexander the Great. Founder was Theodoros Kokmotos, a former pilot of the Greek Air Force. The flight operation was scheduled for July 2004, but the launch date was untenable due to lack of concession.

The flight operations in 2007, discontinued after the airline the treaty ended the lessee.

The airline operated an aircraft from McDonnell Douglas MD -82 throughout their existence time.
