Alexander Deichsel

Alexander drawbar ( born February 23, 1935) is a German sociologist.

He put the Abitur at the Hamburg Christianeum from, studied Romance, Germanic, Slavic Studies in Munich, Lausanne, Paris and Kiel and, after graduation as an assessor of the Magisterium, Sociology at the University of Hamburg.

There he became assistant to the Schelsky pupil Janpeter Kob and works since 1977 as a Professor of Sociology (emeritus 2000). Mentally strongly influenced by Ferdinand Tonnies, he founded at the University of Hamburg, Ferdinand Tönnies- job (since 2003 at the Alpen- Adria-Universität Klagenfurt) and is the lead editor of Ferdinand Tönnies total output. Since 2010 he has been President of Ferdinand Tönnies- Gesellschaft eV in Kiel.

He is regarded as the founder of sociology as the basis of brand brand technology, its current work area and is co-founder and Board Member of the resulting 1993 " Institute for Markentechnik Geneva ". As a former visiting professor at the Collège de France and the University of Zurich today he gives guest lectures on economic sociology at the State University of St. Petersburg. He also has several years lecturing at the University of Hamburg with a focus on brand sociology.
