Alexander Eberlein

Alexander Eberlein ( born January 14, 1988 in Fürth ) is a German football player. He is a defender and plays mostly on the central defender position.

Career

In youth Eberlein played for the SF Großgründlach and SpVgg Greuther Fürth, before he moved to the U17 TSV 1860 Munich 2003. Since January 2006 he has played in the second team of the TSV 1860. On August 16, 2006 Alexander Eberlein was the silver Fritz Walter medal awarded by the DFB. In 2007 he won the DFB Junior Club Cup with the A- youth of the Sechzger. He recorded his first appearance in the first team on 23 February 2007 in the game against FC Carl Zeiss Jena and came in the second half to eight games. 2007/ 08 he was appointed nominally in the senior squad, but only got to use one in the first team. Since then he has played exclusively in the reserve team in the Regionalliga.

For the second half of the season 2008/ 09 changed Eberlein third division side SV Sandhausen. He signed a contract there until 2010. At the 2010/11 season Eberlein joined league rivals Wacker Burghausen.
