Alexander Fu Sheng

Alexander Fu Sheng (Chinese傅 声/傅 声, Pinyin Fu Sheng, born as Chang Fu - Sheng,张 富 声Chinese, Pinyin Zhang Fu Sheng, born October 20, 1954 in Hong Kong, † July 7, 1983 ) was a well-known performer of Hong Kong cinema of the 1970s.

Life

Fu Sheng was born the son of a wealthy real estate broker Chang Jen -Lung in Hong Kong as second youngest of eleven siblings and grew up in Hawaii. His younger brother Chang Chan - Peng also worked as an actor. At eight, he learned karate and judo and applied later to the drama school of the Shaw Brothers in Hong Kong, where he was taken after his training under contract. He started his career with small supporting roles until he was eventually used in several films for young people. Director Chang Cheh, who had already discovered stars like Jimmy Wang Yu and David Chiang, finally became aware of him and occupied him for a six-month intensive training with Master Liu Chia- Liang in martial arts movies.

In the late 70s he was a celebrated star. Unlike many of his predecessors, he was not only acting and combative, but also comedic talent.

Chang Cheh, whose specialty was often to establish pair of actors ( which was formed by the first and most successful of David Chiang and Ti Lung ), presented his protégé Fu Sheng Chi Kuan young young actor Chun aside. The two harmonized well and were within four years in eleven films together in front of the camera.

On December 4, 1976 Fu Sheng married against the advice of relatives and friends to his longtime girlfriend, the famous singer Jenny Tseng, who was also known as a presenter, actress and fashion designer and still is today. Groomsmen were Shaw actor Wang Chung and Lily Li

On July 7, 1983 Alexander Fu Sheng died as a result of a serious car accident. His last role in the film Eight Diagram Pole Fighter ( 1983) took over after his death, Gordon Liu. Fu Sheng is despite his short life as one of the great performer in Hong Kong. He still has a large fan base across the world.

Fu Sheng's default voice in German films was Michael Ande.
