Alexander Hrennikoff

Hrennikoff Alexander (* 1896 in Russia; † 31 December 1984) was a Russian- Canadian engineer and co-founder of the finite element method.

Hrennikoffs stations were the University of British Columbia and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. From 1933 until his death in 1984 Hrennikoff worked as a professor of civil engineering at the University of British Columbia.
