Alexander Hug (ski mountaineer)

Alexander Hug ( born May 11 1975 in Whales City ) is a Swiss ski mountaineer.

Biography

Hug took his first attempt in ski mountaineering at the age of eleven, when he rose to the Garmil with a self-made touring binding. Since 1990, he pursued the sport of amateur and, in 1995, by participating in the " Arflinalauf " at his first competition in that sport part. The " Pizol Challenge" he won in 1999 and 2000. Since 2000 he is member of the Swiss national ski mountaineering. He also operates Montainbiking, climbing and mountain running. He was the organizer of the 2003 through Him who was born together with Beat Good and Andreas Zimmermann " Pizol Altiski ". In the fall of 2005, he completed an internship as a landscape gardener in London and lives in Sargans.
