Alexander Kanengoni

Alexander Kanengoni ( * 1951 ) is a journalist and novelist from Zimbabwe.

Kanengoni is a former guerrilla fighter and companion of Zimbabwean President Robert Gabriel Mugabe and supporters of the controversial land reform. In his book Echoing Silences he describes the events in the war of liberation against the British colonial power. Because he has a very heroic and idealistic style of writing, his popular works could support the establishment of a Zimbabwean identity.

Alexander Kanengoni works at the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation as Head of Research Service.
