Alexander Kaufmann

Franz Alexander Kaufmann, also Kauffmann, ( born May 14, 1817 in Bonn, † May 1, 1893 in Wertheim ) was a German writer and archivist.

Life

He was the son of the official Franz Wilhelm August Nepomuk merchant and his wife Maria Josefine Maximiliane of Pelzer. One of his brothers was Leopold Kaufmann.

, He studied in Berlin and worked after graduation as an archivist of the Prince of Löwenstein Wertheim.

Marriage with the writer Mathilde Binder

On 10 May 1857 he married Mathilde Cunegonde Amalia Caroline binder from Nuremberg. She was a writer and wrote under the name " Amara George ".
