Alexander Koreshkov (ice hockey)

Alexander Gennadjewitsch Koreshkov (Russian Александр Геннадьевич Корешков; born October 28, 1968 in Ust- Kamenogorsk, Kazakh SSR ) is a former Kazakh professional ice hockey player who played in its active period from 1989 to 2010 was for Barys Astana in the Kontinental Hockey League.

Career

Alexander Koreshkov began his career in 1989 in the second Soviet League Torpedo Ust- Kamenogorsk. In 1994 he moved with his brother Yevgeni to HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk, where he played until 2004. Other stations within the 2004/05 season were HK Sibir Novosibirsk, Severstal Cherepovets and Mechel Chelyabinsk HK. From 2005 to 2007 he played again in Ust -Kamenogorsk. During his last employer Barys Astana from Kazakhstan Alexander stood from 2007 to 2010 under contract.

Internationally

In 1998, Alexander Koreshkov with Kazakhstan to the Winter Olympic Games in Nagano in part, scoring three goals in seven games and five assists. In 2006 Koreshkov was appointed to the Kazakh national team, and participated in the 2006 Winter Olympics, where he was able to record a hit and two assists for itself in five games. Koreshkov Currently, with 60 inserts the most capped player of Kazakhstan.
