Alexander Krylov

Alexander Krylov (Russian Александр Николаевич Крылов; born July 1, 1969) is a Russian- German social scientists and economists.

Biography

Alexander Krylov was born in a German - Russian family in Russia. After graduation, he first studied history and social - economic science and later psychology and philosophy. He then earned his doctorate at the Lomonosov Moscow State University in Social Philosophy and Psychoanalysis ( 1999).

Krylov 1990-1993 worked as a teacher and leader of a socio-educational service. 1993-1998 he was public relations at the government- Foundation "Children of Russia" in Moscow working as a Manager and Head of the Division. From 1998 to 2000 he was Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the National Institute of Business. 2001-2008 he worked at the Institute of World Economics and International Management at the University of Bremen. Since 2006 he is Professor of Communication Management at the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at the National Institute of Business. 2008-2010 - Professor at the University of Management and Communication Potsdam. Since 2008 he has headed the East-West Institute in Berlin. He is also the deputy chairman and board member of the Bremen School of Economics and advises German and Russian companies on issues of management and intercultural communication.

In 2011 he was in Russia with a Gold Medal " For services to Education and Science "; In 1999 with a diploma of the Committee for Entrepreneurship of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and in 1997 was awarded a certificate of the Government of Moscow.

Science and Research

Research focuses on Krylov psychoanalytic anthropology, social identity and corporate identity, communication management, intercultural management, social change. According to Krylov classical psychoanalysis evolved from a form of psychotherapy to philosophy. The ideas of Freud and his followers increasingly became a subject of discussion to the philosophical understanding of the human condition. In the monograph "The Evolution of identities " (2010) he showed that the self-understanding of man is under the influence of social change. Modern man tries not only by the traditional but increasingly more through new identities as virtual identity, consumer identity, life still identity, among others Celebrityidentität to define. Identity is linked in the post-industrial society mitpersönlichen psychological problems and crisis. With research in the field of Corporate Communications (since 1998) Krylov one of the pioneers of public relations in Russia. The first Russian-speaking scientists he worked on corporate identities and published on this subject in 2004, the first Russian-language book, based on analyzes of several German brand identity company. The development of public relations is inseparable for Krylov of the development of democracy and press freedom. His research in the field of communication management is strongly associated with the psychology of communication, as well as morality and ethics. The goal of public relations for Krylov is to build trust between various actors, which can be realized only through open and transparent communication.
