Alexander Serov (cyclist)

Alexander Sergeyevich Serov (Russian: Александр Сергеевич Серов, English Alexander Serov, born November 12, 1982 in Vyborg, Leningrad Oblast, Russian SFSR, USSR ) is a Russian cyclist.

Alexander Serov began his career in 2001 with the cycling team Itera. After two years he moved to Lokomotiv and travels since 2006 for the Russian Continental team Tinkoff restaurants. At the Track Cycling World Cup 2006/2007 in Sydney, he first won the individual pursuit in the final against the Germans Robert Bengsch and the next day with the national team, the Team Pursuit.

In the UCI Track World Championships in 2010 Serov finished fourth in the individual pursuit.
