Alexander Sims (racing driver)

Alexander Sims ( born March 15, 1988 in London ) is a British racing driver. He won the 2008 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award. He started in 2013 in the Blancpain Endurance Series, the European Formula 3 Championship and the GP3 series.

Career

After Sims 2000-2006 was active in karting, he made 2006 in the winter series of the British Formula Renault, its first experience in Formula racing. 2007 Sims was active in the British Formula Renault and was with a win eighth in the championship. He also took part in several races of the French and Northern European Formula Renault Winter Series and competed in the British Formula Renault. 2008 Sims was another season in the British Formula Renault and was runner-up behind Adam Christodoulou. In addition, he participated for Moto Park Academy at the season finale of the British Formula 3 Championship. He chose a race for themselves. He also began to TOM'S in the Macau Grand Prix.

2012 remained at status Sims GP, failed to boot up for the team but in Formula racing, but in endurance racing in a LMP2 car. In the European Le Mans Series, he reached with a third place in his debut race at Le Castellet and was tenth in the LMP2 drivers championship.
