Alexander Stepanov

Alexander Alexandrovich Stepanov (Russian Александр Александрович Степанов, scientific transliteration Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Stepanov, born November 16, 1950 in Moscow, USSR ) is a pioneer in the field of computer science. His research focus is the Generic Programming and he is considered as the main creator of the C Standard Template Library.

Stepanov studied mathematics in Moscow and is currently working at Adobe Systems. Stepanov is the father of eight children.
