Alexander Uspenski

Alexander Sergeyevich Uspenski (Russian Александр Сергеевич Успенский; born April 25, 1987 in Moscow, Soviet Union ) is a Russian figure skater who starts in a single run.

At the age of five years Uspenski other children saw play sports and wanted to emulate them, not knowing that it was a figure skating group. His mother Svetlana Igorevna and his father Sergei Borisovich were astonished, but eventually stood the request of her son, not in the way. His two- years younger brother Wladimir is also skaters.

Uspensky greatest role model is Alexei Yagudin. He also admired Yevgeny Plyushchenko and Johnny Weir. He is good friends with the Russian figure skaters Sergei Dobrin and Sergei Voronov.

Uspenski trained in Moscow with Natalia and Leonid Dubinskaja Raizin. He starts for SC Moskvitch, Moscow.
