Alexandra Simons-de Ridder

Alexandra Simons -de Ridder ( born October 29, 1963 in Cologne ) is a German dressage rider and team Olympic gold medalist.

Private

Simons -de Ridder is with the dressage trainer Antonie, called "Sound" de Ridder married, with whom she has two children. Daughter Jill is itself a successful horsewoman and won, among others, at the European Junior Championships 2007, a single gold medal. The family lives near Aachen.

Career

Alexandra Simons -de Ridder celebrated its biggest sporting successes around the year 2000. During this time she won with Chacomo various checks at Grand Prix level. In 1999, Simons -de Ridder with Chacomo third at the World Cup Final Dressage and won the Dressage Grand Prix of Aachen. As a result they got the opportunity to start at the European Championships in 1999 in Arnhem. Here she won the team gold medal with Chacomo. A year later she was part of the dressage Nations Cup team at the CHIO Aachen and was subsequently nominated for the German Olympic team. Here she won in the German team with Chacomo the team gold medal and reached the singles competition ranked 16th.
