Alexandre Alphonse ( born June 17, 1982 in Saint -Leu- la -Forêt, France) is an international footballer of French nationality and Caribbean roots. Since January 2012, he stands at Stade Brest under contract.

Career

The striker came in 2005 from FC La Chaux -de-Fonds initially for one year on loan to FC Zurich. After an impressive 2005/06 season with eight goals in 21 league inserts Alphonse has been committed. With FC Zurich he was Swiss champion in 2006 and 2007. From the summer of 2007, he had a solid regular place in the team and excelled as a reliable scorer. In the season 2008/ 09 he came up with 13 goals this season in 30 games. In 2012, he joined the French first division side Stade Brest, where he had to irregular operations experience in his first season in the second year as an outsider relegation to the second division.

Alexandre Alphonse also plays for the selection of Guadeloupe. When CONCACAF Gold Cup 2009, he was in the squad of Guadeloupe and scored a goal in the victory against Panama in the group stage.
