Alexandre Daigle

Alexandre Daigle ( born February 7, 1975 in Montreal ) is a former Canadian professional ice hockey player who, as well as during his career, among other things for the Ottawa Senators, Philadelphia Flyers, Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League HC Davos, Fribourg- Gottéron and SCL Tigers played in the Swiss National League A. Career

Alexandre Daigle was considered one of the greatest hockey talent in North America and a possible successor to Wayne Gretzky. In March 2006 was sent to the American Hockey League with the Houston Aeros. But for this, he completed no play and was discharged after only a week within the league to the Manchester Monarchs.

On 5 May 2006 it was announced that Daigle has signed a two -year contract with the Swiss team HC Davos. In the season 2006/ 07 National League A, he finished second in the scorers list with 61 points in 44 games and won the league title with the HC Davos. His contract was extended to 2011 in December 2006. In the 2008 /09 season he won his second championship with the Davosern, but scored less points scorer than before. The following season the Canadians spent mainly in the SCL Tigers, where he was the Players out on loan in use and this also thanks to his performance managed in the league.
