Alexandrina Barbosa Cabral ( born May 5, 1986 in Lisbon ) is a Spanish handball player of Portuguese descent.

Career

Alexandrina Barbosa Cabral played until 2005 with the Portuguese club Andebol Madeira SAD, then to 2008 in Spain at Astroc Sagunto. She then moved to the Romanian club CS Rulmentul - Urban Braşov. After two years, the 1.75 meter tall backcourt player returned to Spain, where she worked with Itxako Reyno De Navarra each won the league and cup double in 2011 and 2012. In the 2012/13 season she played in Romania for the CS Oltchim Ramnicu Valcea, with whom she was Romanian Champion 2013. After Vâlcea went bust, she joined in July 2013 in the German Bundesliga Thüringer HC, in which she signed a one year contract. From the summer of 2014, it runs on for the French first division CJF Fleury Loiret handball.

Cabral Barbosa played since 2003, each season with their respective club in the EHF Champions League, their biggest success was in the finals in the season 2010/11.

It belonged until 2009 to the Portuguese national squad. In 2012 she took a Spanish citizen and runs since then on to Spain.
