Alexandros Zaimis (Greek Ἀλέξανδρος Ζαΐμης, born November 9, 1855September 15, 1936 in Vienna) was a Greek politician. The son of Thrasivoulos Zaimis, the former Greek Prime Minister, already rose at a young age into a political business, in 1885 and 1897 for the first time parliamentarians Prime Minister. In 1917 he was again Greek Prime Minister under King George, while Eleftherios Venizelos established a rival government in Northern Greece. In June of the same year he gave up his position under pressure from the Entente favor of Venizelos.

As a moderate conservative, he assumed the office of Prime Minister again from 1926 to 1928 in a coalition government of the Venizelisten with moderate conservatives. He served as President from 1929 until the restoration of the monarchy 1935.
